I am speaking tonight to the group I lead: Boston .NET Architecture Group on the intersection between latest in the .NET Framework and some software architecture trends we have been seeing in the last few years. Here is the abstract:
.NET Software Architecture Trends
This year has seen the release of Visual Studio 2015 and .NET 4.6 (and the pending ASP.NET 5) with an interesting focus more and more on "not .NET specific" offerings such as Javascript tools and libraries, containers and microservices, cross-domain support for Mac and Linux, open source, and other surprises and changes. This session will be a general discussion of the latest .NET software architecture trends plus some recommendations on how to keep current. Please bring your own experiences to share with the group.
It should be an interesting discussion.
