Sam's SOA talk last night was excellent! He highlights some of the features here and has made his slides available on his portal site.

I liked seeing both Jim and Sam present on this in the same week as both presented and emphasized different parts of this large topic and complimented each other quite well. Jim talked about and gave demos on WS-Security (username/password tokens), WS-Policy, and use of MSMQ while Sam talked about and gave demos on WS-Security (X509 certificate tokens), WS-SecureConversation, and a great section on what to expect with Indigo (no, Don, he didn't break any NDAs!). It has been a great week!

The general consensus among all three of us is the best book on the market right now to get a handle on SOA and WSE 2 is Jeffery Hasan's Expert Service-Oriented Architecture in C#: Using the Web Services Enhancements 2.0 (published by APress) (read this account of Jeffery presenting to the LA .NET User Group).
