Last night, I went to the November Boston Geek Dinner and I was talking to Jason Haley about one of my posts from a year ago on .NET Patterns Study Groups. A year ago, I asked if there was any interest in starting .NET-focused Patterns Groups and got some good comments. Jason mentioned asking the folks at the last Downtown Boston ("Beantown") .NET User Group meeting if anyone would be interested in this, and said he got an overwhelming response.

I would be interested in helping to put together a study group starting in January in the Boston area. Basically, I or someone would lead the initial study of a pattern, but then we (members of the group) would take turns leading each meeting on another pattern, similar to how the old patterns study groups worked.

I don't have any other details other than this at the moment as it is very new, but I will keep you updated on progress, etc. Please let me know your interest if you are in the area as well.
