I have hesitated about putting this out here, but if no one knows you are looking, they won't pass on leads. A couple of my friends (Sam and Don) are looking as well, so I don't feel bad about mentioning it.

My work with my primary client (I have been there 2+ years) ended over a month ago. We went through three versions of the product and all things were successful. But, it was time to move on as the only option open to me was a full-time position that wasn't what I was looking for at the time. I do have some other client work I am finishing, but those will also be completed within this month. As Don mentions, I have many volunteer activities that will also keep me busy, but I have financial obligations as well.

I am looking for consulting opportunities, as that is what I do through my company. Ideally, I am looking for a project or projects that involve my interests in security, distributed architectures, and any database development. Of course, I enjoy speaking at the conferences and user groups, but so far, paid training options have not opened to me. I would enjoy speaking or consulting with companies that are looking to write secure code as I feel that is a very important requirement for any developer. I also have extensive experience in application development with web forms (ASP.NET), windows forms, and everything in between.
