There are some interesting .NET events I am aware of this month in the Boston area:
Downtown Boston Beantown.NET User Group, tonight, February 3, 5:30-7:30, featuring Sam Gentile on "Advanced COM Interop". Sam is giving a dry run of his VSLivetalk.
The Web Services Edge 2005 East Conference is taking place in downtown Boston on February 15-17. See Thom Robbins' blog for information on a free Expo Hall pass (if they are still available).
While at the conference, the Boston .NET User Group, is sponsoring a Cabana Night on February 16. As before, there will be many topics ranging from ASP.NET, C#, SQL Server, as well as Security where you can ask questions of the experts. Attendance is free (you don't have to register for the Edge conference). I will be there, probably speaking under the Security track again. You can find more details here.
Our second Boston Code Brew will be February 23, 6:00-9:00 (or so). We will be discussing mostly "all things database", in particular development with SQL Serve. As I mentioned previously, our first one was a great success! The first Vermont Code Brew also started last night (Feb. 2), led by Zackery Kent.
