Last week was an interesting one. I spent a lot of time hunting down an
Enterprise Services issue, that became a Windows Server 2003 issue, that finally became a weird statement that distributed transactions don't work on Windows Server 2003. But, in the end, a bug with
Oracle Services for MTS was causing the problematic TransactionId results I was
getting. Thanks to
Florin Lazar for all his help in analyzing the data and determining the problem.
